My grandfather, James skerritt that was born in bequia st Vincent, however is father is believed to be William skerriit from Montserrat. William had a brother called jesiah/Josiah skerritt. William also had a son called Defrietas (Montserrat) skerritt and a daughter called Carmen. William is believed to have fathered my grand father James and my uncle’s defrietas and Leonard in st Vincent with different women, Aida Lawrence, Rebecca Douglas etc. James moved to saint Trinidad and so did William.
